Philips每年都會舉辦Simplicity event來宣示世人該公司對消費者「讓(產品)使用經驗更簡單、更直覺」的承諾，2007年的Simplicity event以設計與技術關懷人類為主題展現Philips的創意。
Philips提出care for family, care for patient, care for guest等三個概念做討論的重點，試著詮釋sense and simplicity和care for people的宗旨。
